A very warm December led to an exceptionally snow January - at least for a brief couple of weeks. While the snow has almost disappeared, Carried and I managed to seize the opportunity for a delightful snowy photoshoot before temperatures rose above freezing.
The morning of our shoot greeted us with some long-awaited sunshine, casting a beautiful glow on our snowy set - my front yard. I'm truly grateful for the unexpected burst of sunlight! As we began our session, we stumbled upon a spot that turned out to be absolutely stunning, with the sun filtering through behind Carrie. Gorgeous!
Venturing into something a little different is always refreshing. Given that Michigan no longer reliably holds onto snow throughout the winter, planning snowy sessions has become a challenge. However, I'm absolutely thrilled with the results of this one! The uniqueness of our short and sweet snowy adventure allowed us to capture moments that reflect the magic of Michigan's winter season.
