Mike & Ashley: A Pretty Little Wedding (Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer)

September 20, 2014

This cute little wedding was one I snuck in late in the season. Mike is one of my coworkers, and he and Ashley decided to get married in September, and I was available, so I was there to help out with their photo needs. They have an adorable little daughter, Naomi, who kept me entertained throughout the day, and it was fun watching these two 'kids' tie the knot. What a cute little wedding it was!

Mike and Ashley planned a small, intimate church wedding, which was short and sweet. And after some heavy rain, thunder and wind during dinner and most of the reception, the sun showed it's face for us just in time for some great twilight photos. The lighting and colors outside were absolutely perfect, I couldn't have asked for better!

Ceremony and Reception: Kentwood Christian Church, Kentwood, MI
Invitations: Michael's Arts and Crafts
Flowers: Events by Ludema's, Grand Rapids, MI
Dress: David's Bridal

Jared & Jennifer: Engaged (West Michigan Wedding Photographer)

October 13, 2014

Sharing another engagement session. These fall colors were great while they lasted, and I'm so glad we got a few in while we could! Jared and Jennifer scheduled their session quite a few months ago to ensure they'd get just that. They also got some rain, but we beat the raindrops at Fallasburg Park and made it work just perfectly. There are a bunch of these that are my favorite AND I just started using a new blog tool (thanks to my new friend and coworker, Amber!) so I'm super excited to share all these with you guys. Jared and Jennifer are getting married in April, which is coming up quickly, so you'll see them again soon!

^Haze on the Flat River. Pretty cool!

^Capturing a few more of those fall colors.

^Pretty sure this is my favorite of theirs!

^Another fave.

^Love the cute rope idea.

^Hunting is important to this bride-to-be ;)
