Kordella Family (West Michigan Family Photographer)

September 13, 2014

Nothing is better than an awesome family session! The Kordellas came to see me, complete with the newest addition to the family, Matthew, and we had lots of fun wandering around the park, finding cute spots to take photos of each and every one of them. Chris and Ashley, Matthew's mom and dad, got married just last year, and it was great to see them and all of Chris's family again. The girls were great, even though it took a few shots a couple times, and even little Matthew was a sport by sleeping for us the whole time! It was a pleasure to see them all again and I hope to again soon!

^Maddie loves her little brother :)

^Pretty ladies with their grandma.

^Awww, Mom :)

^Matthew was a dream, and I bet he was having a few during our session too!

^These two siblings love their mom!

^Silly silly Daddy.

September 27, 2014

It was nothing short of the most beautiful day you could ask for to set the stage for my last wedding of the year. Sean and Amber timed it perfectly and their wedding day was amazing. Check out a few sneaks here and keep your eye out for more in the coming weeks.

The Lewis Family (West Michigan Family Photographer)

September 13, 2014

Such a perfect day for a family photo shoot! So perfect, in fact, that I did two :) First up, I met my favorite Lewis' to play with little Olivia (3 months old now!) and her mom, dad and big brother. Mom and I have been friends for years and years, and we got to be pregnant together for a little while. And I know Olivia loves me a lot because she made her grand entrance to the world on my wedding anniversary. Awww ;) Anyway, we did a quick family session with Andy, Kristin, Declan and my little Puss (what I call Olivia) and we had lots of fun. She's still not super interested in the camera yet, but I know she will be soon! Thanks for a great shoot, guys!

^Such a cute little family!

^Their firsts ;)

^Loving little Olivia.

^Mom looks lovely. Olivia isn't that interested ;)

^Already a great big brother!

^I think she's over it.

John & Megan: A Classic Wedding (Metro Detriot Wedding Photographer)

August 16, 2014

This is the first time ever that I had TWO double wedding weekends in the same year. I can't tell you that I wasn't a little nervous being pregnant during both of them, but I CAN tell you that both of them went off without a hitch, and some of my favorite images this year come from these four weddings. The last of these was John and Megan's wedding. John's father is the president of the company I work for my 'regular job' :) and John used to come in and help in the warehouse during the summer occasionally when he was younger, so we've crossed paths a few times. Megan and I met last year to chat about their big day. She, her sister and I really hit it off and we chatted for what felt like forever the day we met. I was super excited to get to spend the day with the two of them (since they are so cute, fun, and totally awesome), their family and friends, when the wedding finally came around!

I started out with Megan and the girls. They were a riot from the beginning, and I could tell that it was about the same from the photos my assistant, Jess, got of the guys before they went to the church. A very fun crowd to work with is always nice! After the wedding, we met back up with the wedding party at Sycamore Hills Golf Club, where we took off on 12 golf carts for photos. It was quite the parade through the course that we made! It was quite an experience, but we got lots of great photos before the reception, so yay for us!

The reception was amazing. I've never seen a dance floor fill up so full of people, and so quick! It was packed the whole time we were there. John and Megan have an amazing group of friends, family and college pals (go Albion!) and they made sure to make it a party. It was a great pleasure to work with them all, and I can't wait to show off this post so... carry on!
