While I’ve shifted most of my blogging over to my website (definitely check it out if you haven’t!), I couldn’t resist sharing this sweet family here. I’ve had the joy of photographing Ashley, Chad, Aiden, and Brynn for YEARS — and fun fact: our very first session together was right here in downtown Rockford!

We braved the chilly temps for a quick session, but these four brought all the warmth needed. I’m so grateful for families who trust me year after year — it truly means the world. Always a treat to see you all!

There’s something so special about photographing a family you’ve had the joy of reconnecting with over the years. When Nicole reached out about an extended family session for her in-laws, I was all in! We met at the beautiful Windmill Island Gardens in Holland, where the sunshine and Dutch charm made the perfect backdrop.

With a lively crew full of kids, things were wonderfully energetic (just how I like it!), and we captured plenty of real smiles and personality along the way. Thank you, Beukema family, for inviting me in once again — you’re always such a joy to photograph!
