I'll warn you now, this is a long one. Dan and Lisa had so much time for photos, it practically made me cry, so there's a lot to share in this post. As those of you from Michigan will know, this has been a SUPER hot and dry summer, and Dan and Lisa's wedding fell right in the middle of it all. It was in the 90s during the day and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Despite the heat, these two (and their awesome wedding party) were troopers, and although we did try to keep in the shade as much as humanly possible, they were up for whatever, and I love what we have to show for it.
I met these two last year about their wedding. They seemed really sweet, and I found out that was a correct assessment after their
engagement session in September. They are a gorgeous couple who love each other (the best kind ;) and were just a dream to work with. I had fun corresponding with Lisa via email about her wedding plans. I was thrilled with our itinerary which left room for lots of photo opportunities, and their reception at Aquinas College was awesome as well... it's a beautiful place to photograph!
It was a great day filled with love, smiles, craziness, dancing, and trolleys. So without further ado, here are all the fine photos from Dan and Lisa's July wedding in Grand Rapids! Love it!
