There's nothing like a wedding to bring a family together, and Matt and Katie's day was all about love, unity, and the joining of their beautiful blended family. Surround by vibrant fall colors and stunning decor by Julie LaPorte of Fiori di Guilia—a close friend of the bride and a truly talented designer—Matt and Katie made their family officially one. Including all four of their kids in the ceremony, they created a heartfelt celebration that reflected their love and commitment to each other and their family.
The Boathouse at Bay Pointe Inn on Gun Lake provided an intimate, picturesque setting with waterfront views and pretty flowers, as well as a few pumpkins to celebrate the season. With a smaller guest list, the atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, allowing everyone to come together and celebrate in a truly personal way. The Boathouse also offered a cozy place for the wedding party to stay, making the whole experience feel like a family getaway.
Throughout the day, Matt and Katie radiated joy, their love shining through in every moment. It was especially wonderful spending time with Matt's daughters, who brought so much fun to the occasion! The night ended with a spontaneous splash as the three of them jumped off the dock and into the lake—a perfect finish to a perfect day!
I wish Matt, Katie, and their four amazing kids a lifetime of love and happiness. Their journey as a family has begun in the most beautiful way.
