Everyone knows that in October, Michigan is a mixed bag of good and bad weather. Cold, wet, hot, windy, snowing, who knows! When
Scott and Adrianna met with me last year about their wedding at Bay Pointe Inn, I was ecstatic to get to work with them at such a beautiful place. I've been wanting to do a wedding there forever!!! And October can be a wonderful month. It can also be a messy, messy month... But we got lucky because their wedding day was absolutely perfect. A nice breeze, lots of sun, cool but not cold temperatures. Perfect.
Our schedule didn't work out as planned, but I couldn't be happier with all the gorgeous photos we got. So many pretty details, such a great couple, so many family members, it was a great day. There was lots of love and emotion by the lake during the ceremony. Nothing but big smiles for Scott, a few tears from the ladies in the wedding. And so many photos! My awesome second, Kate, and I got so many amazing shots as we stayed mostly by the Boathouse. The lighting got to be tricky in places but I don't think it held us back in the end.
Scott and Adrianna had a wonderful reception. Wine, cake, good friends, singing and dancing family members, and a band makes for a nice evening. I am so glad I got to be part of this wedding. What a great way to end the season! Congrats to Scott and Adrianna... and enjoy the photos!
