I knew the Waltemyer girls back in middle and high school at Harrison. We're all grown up now and two of them have families of their own. Tiffany asked me to do some photos for her parent's anniversary. A big old family photo, that's a great gift idea in my book! And since one of the sisters, Brandy, was in from out of town... perfect timing.
Anyway, let's get back to the kids. First, there's little Allie. She is just so cute, and such a happy little girl. Justin and Tiffany are proud of their little almost-two-year-old. She had an adorably infectious laugh and we got lots of cute little shots of her! And then their's little Casey. He is a cute little man at three-years-old, and although I was told he's usually fine with getting his photo taken, after our first few shots, he wasn't feeling it. And he was NOT interested in photos outside... sigh... My favorite part about being a photographer is that sometimes you get to prove that photography is fun, especially to little guys like Casey. In order to get most of our shots of him, I showed him how to take a picture. I'd frame up the shot from his point-of-view, focus, and he would push the shutter (although he tended to hold it down for a little longer than necessary, haha). He LOVED it! And of course he wanted to see it immediately after he took the photo. He took tons of everyone. And even better, we convinced him that once he took a shot, he had to get in the photo next. And of course, we could show it to him afterwards. Good job, little guy!
