Ashley, who I met for the first time at her sister's wedding, is very close to delivering her little bundle of joy, Braelyn, sometime this June. It was good to see her again, as well as her sister, Monica, and their mom, Theresa. If only we could all be so lucky as Ashley during pregnancy. If you didn't see her belly, you wouldn't know she was having a baby. Although I know it's not a piece of cake, I'm sure she's very excited and ready to meet Braelyn.
We started out in the studio, doing some of your traditional black background portraits of the baby belly, and then did a couple cute shots of her and a couple cute baby props, including the teeny tiny shoes that Braelyn will get when she is born. It's amazing how small they are and that a person will actually fit into them. So exciting for them.
The rain held off long enough for us to get outside and do some work in a couple grassy areas I scouted. I would have liked a prettier sky, but Ashley made them great shots either way. I am excited to meet the little lady soon!
