Mama Christie came back for another fun session, this time with her son, Tristan! She got her makeup done, though they went more casual for this shoot (perfect for summer!). There had to be a little bit of food bribery (lunch and snacks!) as well as some goofy talking and tickles, but we got tons of great shots of this mom and son team. It was great to see you guys again!

Mandy - Bridal Portraits (Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer)

One of the benefits of being a boudoir photographer is that you get to be there for big bridal moments for people who aren't necessarily your wedding clients! A friend and fellow wedding photographer, Mandy, got married this year. Although her wedding dreams were put on hold due to COVID, she's still got some grand ideas, and I was able to help get a few awesome images of her in white and with a bridal bouquet prior to her boudoir shoot! Sunflower Minis - Jon & Jessica (West Michigan Wedding Photographer)

Second engagement session? Maybe? Kind of? Sure, why not! Jon and Jessica's wedding was supposed to happen two months ago but because of, well, 2020 in general, it didn't go off as planned. They've already shifted to a 2021 date but that doesn't mean I don't get to see the two of them this year! They were my last group for the sunflower mini sessions and it was great to see them. Can't wait until next June. Let's hope this next year is 10,000 times better than this one, right guys?

Sunflower Minis - Michael & Justine (West Michigan Wedding Photographer)

Just a couple more from our sunflower sessions! Justine and Michael are getting married in a small ceremony in October, and while I was planning the sunflower minis, she and I were also talking about engagement photos and they sort of fit together perfectly. Check out this happy couple just a few months before they say "I do!".
