Man, I'm getting bad at remembering to post things on my blog! But that's okay, I always remember eventually. This session was for a great friend of mine. She needed new head shots for work, and I offered to help out. I even convinced her to upgrade to a full GLAM shoot (professional style) with hair/make-up and everything. We had a blast and she loves her new head shots.

Alex & Danielle: A Chilly March Wedding (Kalamazoo Wedding Photographer)

March isn't a month I find myself with a lot of weddings to photograph. But when one comes along, I'm happy to take it! I'm super thrilled I had the opportunity to photograph this one, as Alex and Danielle were an amazing couple to work with. This couple is so very down to earth (which I learned right away during their puppy-filled engagement session), fun to work with, and they both were fully present and in the moment on the day of their wedding. Their smiles were certainly infectious and it was a pleasure meeting their friends and family. A great group of people!

Despite it still being winter, there wasn't any snow to work with. Danielle wasn't sad about that, though, so it worked out just fine. It wasn't all that cold either, though the girls tried not to keep their coats off for long during photos! We went to a couple great spots in downtown Kalamazoo (always a pleasure to shoot there) before finishing the night back at their reception.

A winter wedding is a great way to keep my creativity going. Five months without a wedding is just too long! For so many reason, I'm so glad I got to be a part of your big day, Alex and Danielle. You guys are awesome!
