Having just purchased their first home together, Aly and Zach were definitely ready to start their life together, but first, the wedding! I know that these two would have preferred to NOT require masks for their big day, but they were forced to make that decision. Despite a bit of rain that pushed their ceremony inside as well as the mask requirements, the two of them had an absolutely beautiful wedding day.
Aly managed to put a lot of really beautiful special DIY touches into her wedding. I absolutely loved the agate place setting markers and the adorable wedding board of family members in their wedding garb. The beautifully hand-dyed Sola Flowers were a perfect, long-lasting option for bouquets. She chose comfort in the footwear department - sparkly Keds are always a hit! - and may have splurged a bit on her veil, and all the details and hard work came together so well in the end.
After seeing each other for the first time as they walked down the aisle, these two made it official! The sun came out enough to get outside for family photos and bridal party portraits. Jess second shot with me again for this one and we had a good time trekking through the tall grass for some great shots with the bridal party. We even caught some GORGEOUS fall colors for Zach and Aly's portraits together. Not a bad way to go for a day that started out a bit on the dreary side.
Even with masks on, the wedding guests made sure to dance the night away. And did I mention there were donuts??! Because there were donuts. And cider! If that isn't fall wedding perfection, I don't know what is.
Aly and Zach, you guys did an amazing job on your beautiful wedding. I'm glad I could be a part of it with the two of you. Congratulations and I wish you a wonderful life together!
