This wedding season is a bit strange for me. I have a few less weddings than usual, and they are (oddly!) perfectly spaced out. This is awfully handy since we added another little one to our family this year. But my wedding season started out in a wonderful way with
Anwelli and Bola's wedding on the east side of the state about a month ago. These two are such a gorgeous couple, I couldn't wait to see them on their wedding day.
Though the weather decided to be uncooperative and the timeline didn't stand up to wedding day activities as much as we would have liked, I was thrilled with all the amazing images we were able to get of these two. Anwelli and Bola are from Nigeria and Cameroon, respectively, so I knew their wedding would be a little bit different for me. Though a lot of things were the same, my second shooter, Mandy, and I were able to experience something new and exciting with their wedding. There was so much love, rejoicing and SO MUCH DANCING! I didn't recognize one song that was played but I was moving to the music all night. And I learned about a few new wedding traditions as well. What a cool opportunity.
These two have a profound love for one another and for God. Their families came together beautifully and I was so happy to be a part of their amazing ceremony and reception. Thank you both so much for letting me experience your wedding day together!
