Wyatt: Brand New (West Michigan Newborn Photography)

This year has been insane and as we are slowly able to start getting back to a bit of normalcy this summer (which I pray continues... fingers crossed!), I am finally able to start photographing again as long as it's outside and at a safe distance. Break out my 70-200mm Nikkor zoom lens and we are good to go!

First up is little Wyatt, who was born in April. We were a little late for newborn photos, but the timing was pretty good for the apple blossoms on his grandpa's farm! Ryan and Kristin got married last summer and this little cutie pie will be back for more sessions later on. I can't wait to cuddle him... patience, Jenna, patience...

Jill & Jeff: Baby on Board (Grand Rapids Maternity Photography)

It's finally time to share the photos of my fellow photographer and friend, Jill, and her husband Jeff. They were scheduled for their session before the quarantine started and now it's ALMOST time for their little girl to make her appearance! I'm excited to share her GLAM session. It was great to see her in the studio and meet Jeff, who is going to be an amazing Daddy, along with his already awesome Mommy-to-Be!

Jill did an amazing job prepping for her session, and I am thrilled with how everything turned out! Though I won't be able to photograph Baby when she arrives, being a part of the journey beforehand. Congrats to the both of you!!!

Happy Gotcha Day, Petey!

When the shutdown/lockdown/quarantine first got going, I knew that I wouldn't be getting to do much photography. Stay in, stay safe!

Thankfully, it was my kitty's birthday during that time, so I made sure to document that on March 30. And since it's been so long since my blog got any new love... we'll say Happy Gotcha Day to Mr. Petey today! Today was the day I picked him up from the Ionia Animal Shelter in 2007 and we've never looked back.

I love you, Pete, you occasionally annoying but always snuggly friend of mine.
