I would love to get a chance to do more winter weddings, but let's be honest, in Michigan, winter is such a "who knows" type of season that they just don't happen very often. I mean, it's probably a good thing, right? I need a break after the holiday season, which is RIGHT after wedding season. Phew! Talk about exhaustion! But without fail, sometime in February I start getting excited for spring and wedding season.
Yes, already!
So when a friend of mine invited me to hang out a photograph with her during her styled shoot, I was all about it! Bonus, another of my friends/second shooters was there too, so honestly, it was a great little afternoon get together. Thoroughly enjoyable all around.
Sam has a wedding blog and she's also a wedding photographer, so she has a lot of ideas when it comes to weddings and styled shoots. She planned this fun, punk, and PINK wedding styled shoot and it was a perfect little respite from all that winter "BLA". She had a gorgeous bouquet created, jazzed our lovely model up with a leather jacket, Dr Martens AND a pink veil, and even had drink service and treats to make it that much more perfect!
It was tons of fun hanging out and shooting with Mandy and Sam, I would love to do it again! Thanks ladies, for including me! And now... time for the photos!!!
