Not every bride and groom want a huge blowout celebration with crazy amount of dancing, partying and all eyes on them throughout the whole day. Kevin and Sara are one of those couples. But because of that mindset, they set out to make sure their wedding was exactly what they wanted it to be. They chose a morning wedding at a camp (who has hosted few, if any weddings in the past) with an outdoor ceremony and indoor pizza party for lunch. And that's it! It was short, sweet and just about perfect for the two of them.
Sara and Kevin's location was chosen because they have an attachment to the area. The lakes and the up north vibe was a great setting for their wedding as well. They wanted a few quick shots with their dogs, Tilly and Capone, so they came along just for the first look. Then we did all the photos with the bridal party and a few of the family as well. That left a ton of time just to hang out with their family and friends during pizza and cupcakes (and mushroom if you were Kevin and his best man!), as well as snag a photo with every table at the reception.
Even if it took an extra year, it was great to be a part of this low-key wedding with you, Sara and Kevin! I wish the two of you the very best for the future and I hope to see you again soon!
