I absolutely love meeting my couples ahead of time. Engagement sessions are something I ALWAYS encourage a couple to do before their wedding... there is so much less stressing about their photography this way. But there have been a few instances where a couple I have NEVER met until the day of their wedding, and everything just clicks from the start. Mark and Sammy were one of these couples. Both of them as well as their amazing families and friends were so kind, fun and inviting, you would never know we weren't old buddies from high school or something!
This crew came from Illinois, so they found me on the vendor list at Bay Pointe. I'm so glad they did because it was a phenomenal day on Gun Lake, which ended in a few fabulous fireworks from the neighboring lakefront owners and generally just a super fun time with this great group. Great speeches, special dances, cute little nieces and nephews, as well as getting some awesome sunset images all made for the perfect start to the Independence Day weekend!
Mark and Sammy, it was certainly a pleasure to work with you guys. You are such a fun-loving couple and it made my day getting to work with you on YOUR big day. Best wishes to an amazing life!!!
