Lindsy and I go way back—nearly 20 years! We first crossed paths fresh out of high school, both eager to step into the "real world." Though life took us in different directions, we always stayed in touch. Over the years, she's been a supporter of my photography journey, so when she and Mark got engaged, I was thrilled when she reached out, excited to work together. It was one of the best compliments I could receive.
For their engagement session last year, we brainstormed the perfect setting. Given their shared love for shoes and MadCap coffee, it felt fitting to meet up in downtown Grand Rapids with their matching Nike sneakers in tow.
When the big day finally arrived, Lindsy and Mark stayed true to their style, still rocking some stylish kicks. Their intimate wedding, surround by close family and friends, was everything they had envisioned—short, sweet, and full of love. The chapel ceremony was heartwarming, and the cozy reception was a perfect blend of comfort and celebration, featuring a delicious meal topped off with cake, cupcakes, and a surprise Nike cake for Mark!
