It's YOUR wedding day. You do YOU! Amanda and Jeff truly embraced this philosophy for their laid-back, fun park wedding in August. Yes, it was a bit warm, but a gentle breeze kept things comfortable. From start to finish, everything was done their way, and it was perfect!
How did they make it their own? First, they opted for a first look, which was such a great choice. It eased their nerves and allowed them to spend more time together throughout the day. We took some beautiful photos with their closest friends and Amanda looked absolutely stunning in her dress—we couldn't stop gushing over that side slit!
In another unique twist, they chose breakfast for dinner! Who doesn't love a good breakfast spread, especially for a wedding? It was a hit with everyone, and their "cake" was an assortment of scrumptious donuts—such a fun and tasty idea!
While there wasn't any dancing—because that just wasn't their thing—their day was still filled with warmth and laughter. Guests enjoyed relaxing, catching up, and even playing a few yard games. A few even made their way over to the playground for a bit! It was the perfect atmosphere for an intimate and personal celebration.
I absolutely love how Amanda and Jeff made their day a reflection of who they are as a couple. There's something so refreshing about weddings that go beyond tradition and embrace what feels right for the couple.
Amanda and Jeff, it was such a pleasure working with you both. Thank you for trusting me to capture your day, and congratulations again! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together!
