Reed & Jessica: A Beautiful Barn Wedding (West Michigan Wedding Photographer)

Some couples are just an absolute pleasure to work with. From start to finish, Jessica and Reed have been one of those couples for me. It was earlier this year that Jessica contacted me about her wedding in September and not longer after that, she asked if I was available to shoot her last minute ceremony to marry Reed, so they could spend the summer as newlyweds AND allow her to fulfill her dream of getting married at her home church in Lake Odessa. (P.S. it happened! Check it out here).

 Aside from that (which was amazing, by the way!), working with these two really was amazing. There is so much love and fun between the two of them. They are both very happy-go-lucky and really just wanted to have fun for their wedding, rather than worry about everything going perfectly. And as luck would have it, that attitude pretty much lead to the day going off without a hitch. 

A beautiful day, wonderful people and so much time to photograph at this lovely location made it absolutely amazing. I can't say much more but than I can't wait to see what life holds for the two of you, and I am so glad I got to be a small part of your story!!!

The Grubius Family: Three Generations (West Michigan Family Photographer)

Nothing is more flattering to me is when a previous customer comes back for more photos with me. This family and come back so many times, it's tricky to even count! First, I did Emily and John's wedding, and then Wes and Carrie's a year later. After that, I did Adam and Lauren's wedding and a few sessions with some of the new kiddos that have joined the family since. 

This time around, we were ready to feature the WHOLE family! It was great seeing everyone and meeting the few I hadn't met yet. It truly is a pleasure getting to do sessions like this! Thank you all for thinking of me!

Ryker: Happy 1st Birthday! (Grand Rapids Children's Photographer)

It's been a minute since Ryker's birthday, but we finally get to share about it today!

This little dude had a lot of fun checking out some cool spots in the studio. He got to do a quick cake smash, although that wasn't his jam, as much as we hoped it would be. But what can you do? One-year-olds make their own decisions when it comes to photos!

It was great to see you again, little Ryker! Enjoy your second trip around the sun!
