Mini Session: Magan & Mike (Mid Michigan Maternity Photographer)

Okay, so this is crazy. I met this little girl when she was FOUR years old. Now she's married and expecting a little girl of her own. That is just CRAZY! And makes me feel just a tad bit old, too! But that's what you get when you are best friends with someone's cousin for 18 or so years. My friend, Judi, and I used to spend the nights at Magan and her family's house in the summer, and I watched her grow up (albeit from afar these last few years). This weekend was her baby shower and I got to photograph her the next day with her husband, Mike. It was fun meeting him and getting to talk more with Magan too. I can't wait until little Aurora comes into the world. She's due on New Year's Day, so she's coming SOON!

Mini Session: Shayla & Seth (Mid Michigan Portrait Photographer)

Another pair of siblings who took part in last year's mini sessions, Shayla and Seth, were in again this year. Their mom, Michelle, got in on a couple shots. I love little family sessions like this. These kids are great as well, so we had fun with a VERY quick session (Saturday was MUCH chillier than Sunday was!).

Mini Session: Alyssa & Hope (Mid Michigan Children's Photographer)

These little ladies are so adorable. They've gotten so big since the last time I saw them. They are a lot bigger but still two awesome little girls. Alyssa is still such a sweet young lady. She wanted to hold my hand each time we walked to the spots to photograph. I was happy to oblige. The poor girl was having trouble with her allergies but she was a champ. Miss Hope is such an awesome little lady herself. She's definitely got a lot of personality. It was great to see Matt and Rosanna too (we went to high school together ever so long ago) and spend some time with this wonderful little family.

Mini Session: Logan & Alex (Mid Michigan Portrait Photographer)

These guys are growing up right in front of my eyes. They've been having their photos with me for a few years now! First of all, we met at the apple orchard, then we went to a family farm, and last year they did my mini sessions. This year, as usual, I let them help me find a few cool spots, as they would know, we were at their grandparents' house! What a great place for photos. Thanks, as always, to Logan, Alex, and their mom, Erica, for a great session!
