John & Abby: Engaged in the Orchard (Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer)

Abby and John are such a cute pair and I am pretty much in love with them! We met for the very first time this winter, and it was so much fun working with them. Luckily, part of their wedding collection included a second engagement session during the "warmer months". We set up a date to get together that coincided with blossom season in West Michigan. It just happened to be only about 10 degrees warmer than the first session (and here's what it looked like then!), though you'd never know it! 

John and Abby were great sports during the chilliest moments, and all the beautiful peach blossoms at Robinette's were absolutely perfect. So yeah, I think we'd all call it a success!

Worth the cold? I like to think so! You'll definitely be seeing these two again in August for their WEDDING! Congrats to the two of you, again, and I'll see you soon!

Wyatt: 12 Months Old (West Michigan Children's Photographer)

Spring has officially sprung and to celebrate, we met little Wyatt for his FIFTH photo shoot in the orchard. He's finally a one-year-old and ready to take on the world. It was lots of fun seeing him with the ALMOST blossoms for the second time!

Wyatt is such a cutie, and though he never has a ton of smiles for me (I KNOW you have them, Wyatt, you just don't want to share them with ME!), I have enjoyed all of his sessions. Even though they won't be every three months anymore, I can't wait to watch this adorable guy keep growing and growing.

Here's the part where I plug doing Milestone Sessions. I fully endorse doing these sessions for all brand new babies! It is so much fun checking out all of a little one's growth throughout the year. I put all of Wyatt's together so check all of sessions we've done. 

Happy birthday, Wyatt! Keep being a handsome little guy!

Wes & Carrie: Baby on the Way! (Grand Rapids Maternity Photographer)

I don't think ANYTHING is more amazing than seeing my former wedding couples getting ready to become parents for the very first time. I've known Wes and Carrie for over 10 years now, and when she told me they were expecting in June, I was so very excited!!!! They came to see me in the studio for a quick little maternity session, featuring Baby Trimpe as the bump. While we will have to wait until June when he or she makes an appearance, I'm kind of THRILLED to get to be a part of the brand new baby process.

Congrats to you, Carrie and Wes! I can't wait for your little one to arrive!
