Another beautiful wedding on the lake at Bay Pointe Inn is in the books! Despite the extremely warm weather that day, Allie and Tanner's lakeside wedding was definitely a beautiful one. It was over 90 outside, but the clouds and a nice breeze off of the lake kept the heat from being too much. It was sincerely a pleasure meeting this great group of people and spending the day with them all.
The couple and I had never met at this point, but we certainly felt like part of the group when we got to Bay Pointe. Allie is as beautiful as she is sweet and she looked stunning for her wedding day. Tanner cleaned up very nicely as well. What a beautiful couple! They didn't want to see each other before the wedding but we were able to get them a couple minutes to chat and hold hands with each other before the wedding started, as well as fit in a ton of great portraits with the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
The ceremony was beautiful, officiated by the groom's aunt, and afterwards, the wedding party took a very quick cruise on Gun Lake before coming back to take photos. The light, as always, was amazing on the lake and we got so many beautiful shots with both Tanner and Allie and their wedding party as well.
They had a lot of fun at the reception, complete with some heartfelt speeches, the shoe game, chair dancing and sunset portraits. The guests danced well into the evening, and the party was still going strong when I headed home for the night. What a great way to get into the full swing of wedding season!
