The Choryan Family (Grand Rapids Family Photography)

Brittany and I are coworkers at my "regular" job as a veneer photographer. For a long time, I didn't get a chance to know her too well but within the last year, I've gotten the chance to chat with her more and I am certainly glad for it. She's another creative soul and she's such a sweetheart! She recently got engaged (more on that later!) and did my sunflower mini sessions too! Last year, she purchased a session for her mom for Christmas. It took us a minute but we FINALLY got it done before summer wraps up. 

I met Brittany and her family (including their old guy doggy, Louie) at Blandford Nature Center and we got some amazing shots in the golden hour light. It was lots of fun working with them and I even managed to be accepted by Louie (who isn't into new people, I'm told!).

Sadie & Max (West Michigan Children's Photographer)

These two cuties belong to my friend, Caitlin. As you can see, she makes some cute kiddos! Little Sadie is a fiery redhead and she definitely was all over the place for our session this time around. She's also a little sweetheart as well, and I love seeing her every time I get to! Little Max is a peach of a little guy, who was all about helping me round up Sadie, and surprisingly good at posing for photos, for a two-year-old! 

You've seen these two before... Max's cake smash and both kids at one of my mini sessions last year. Always, it's a bit of a crazy, fast-paced type of thing, but I love it regardless!

Sneak Peek: Rich & Elise

Even though it was short and sweet, I spent a couple hours with Elise and Rich for their wedding on Saturday. They were surrounded by family and friends, and tied the knot right in their own backyard (with the two cuties below looking on from the side yard)! I've got more editing to do, but of course we have to make sure you get the sneak! Stay tuned for more.

Andrew & Alyssa: Engaged! (West Michigan Wedding Photographer)

Sunset golden hour is the BEST time to shoot. You get that really gorgeous golden yellow glow and it really just ups the ante with the love and emotion, especially for an engagement session. We had golden hour goodness in abundance for Alyssa and Andrew's session! I met them at their chosen park, Hager Park, where there was lots of wandering for us to do and making the most of the fading sunshine. 

These two are really a cheerful couple and it was genuinely fun to meet and spend time with them for their session. We explored and chatted and generally just had a fun time together. Now I'm super excited for their wedding in October next year. See you guys soon!
