3rd Annual Win for Brynn 5K

July 6, 2012

This past weekend, the 3rd annual Win for Brynn 5K was held for the first time in my hometown of Harrison, MI. The event was to benefit Brynn Hileman, who suffers from dibilitating form of autism that often only affects little girls called Rett Syndrome. As a part of Girl Power 2 Cure, which supports families affected by Rett Syndrome and works toward finding a cure for this disorder, the Hileman family (dad Bill, mom Kristin, and little brother Will, and all their extended family) and many amazing sponsors and volunteers held an amazing event that was greatly successful! I ran the race (finished the whole thing without walking, yay!) and everyone who was there definitely had a blast! To learn more about Rett Syndrome, click the GP2C link above, and enjoy some of the photos from the race!
