From the start, I knew
Stephanie and Dustin were having a big wedding. A huge guest list and so many attendants, but honestly, the more the merrier!. Stephanie, who was already looking gorgeous when we arrived, was surrounded by ten of her closest friends as they all got ready. One of these friends is also my friend, Judi, who introduced me to the couple and was in my wedding this summer as well. She's been a pretty busy girl! I know she did a lot for Stephanie's wedding as she did for mine since we chatted all things wedding all spring! Anyway, once Judi had her all laced up and all bridesmaids were properly attired, we started photos and kept an eye on the sky before the ceremony at Sacred Heart. Then it was off in the big party bus to enjoy the rest of the day.
My assistant, Kristin, and I, along with all the bridal party members and lots of significant others piled out of the bus at Nelson Park in Mt. Pleasant. We took a few group shots, some couple photos and then... it poured! I mean, it looked like it might rain but all of a sudden it just opened up! Luckily the bus (and a really big tree!) was nearby and saved us all from drowning in the rain. We took refuge for a bit until the rain finally let up, which it thankfully did. We finally made it back to finish up photos (yay!) and let the wedding party get back to enjoying their day.
Dustin and Stephanie really did have a wonderful day. Their reception (and dance floor) was packed throughout the night and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, the photographers included. I feel like we made a lot of pals at this wedding. Thanks and congrats to you both... now on with the photos!
