Though the weather was far from perfect that weekend in June, Kris and Tricia spent an absolutely wonderful time with their family and friends. Luckily for them, even with the rain outside, they chose a great venue with a nice indoor option. The ceremony took place inside the lodge at Caberfae Peaks, and it was decorated to perfection. The ladies looked stunning (love the bridesmaid dresses!) and the guys cleaned up nicely.
Especially stunning was the bride, Tricia, who never let the weather situation get to her all day. I know marrying the love of her life was the most important thing and that was what she focused on above all else. We did manage to make it outside to photograph the bridal party in the yard where their wedding would have taken place until dryer circumstances. And while we THOUGHT we had a better forecast coming, we waited to do portraits until a bit later but the rain never let up! But Kris and Tricia were absolutely amazing and braved the mist for a few more shots together. By the time we finished, the rain really started coming down again, but that resulted in one of my favorite shots from the whole day of the couple running to get out of the rain.
Thank you both again for sticking it out and finally tying the knot this year despite all the hoops that had to be jumped through. I am so glad I got to be there with you both, even if we did have to wait much longer than expected! Congrats to you both, Tricia and Kris!
